This is our fifth year of doing the auction and financially, it was the most successful ever. And while there's not enough thank you's to go round, I want to try to name a few of them. The generosity of the VT softball fans always amazes me. *Many of you not only paid for your item(s) but also included extra dollars in your total for the softball program. * Several of you didn't win an item, but you sent in a check anyway!!! *One generous donor matched and tripled the autographed softballs, creating a HUGE boost to the numbers. *Another generous donor won the autographed triple play ball for $900, then donated it back to us and the second-place bidder bought it for $900. *Many of you donated items to the auction which gave us something to sell. Thank you! *And we can't forget Tim Hash and his team at Mountain City Auction who, once again, provided a platform for the auction. If anyone in the Roanoke Valley ever needs a realtor or auctioneer, please keep him in mind! SO.....drum roll, please... The 2025 Virginia Tech Softball Auction bought in $42,650 for the softball program. Thank you!
