Today's RPI up to #17 Just when I thought all hopes of hosting regionals had been lost, we're knocking on the door again. A great showing in the ACC tourney (hosted by Duke) along with an early falter by Florida, Arkansas, or Alabama could potentially tip the scales. What I know for sure is that all 3 of those schools can't win their conference tournament and for sure that one of them won't make it to the championship game. It could be too little, too late, but we're definitely close. Whether we want to be a 15 or 16 seed is another question... makes for a tough super-regional assuming the 1 and 2 win. I want to see another game in Blacksburg. Would rather it be in the tourney than against Robert Morris. Hoping that the skies open up on Saturday (after everyone picks up their auction winnings from Chip)!
