Interesting comment from Marissa Young at Duke
I'm watching the Duke -NC State game and the announcers were talking about talking to Marissa Young at Duke before the game and she shared that she felt she had a "mentally tired group" and pointed out that school is coming to an end and it's finals week. These teams have played 50+ games and are having to balance schoolwork as well as softball.
I wonder if that was a factor at Syracuse this weekend. I never thought we would lose two games there. We simply weren't sharp.
Maybe I'm just grasping for an explanation.
The VT team did have two weekday games this past week and then had to ride a bus to Charlotte and then fly to Syracuse. I know they are 18-22 years old, but there were some very uncharacteristic plays this weekend.
Get home, gest rested, and get ready for the rest of the season, ladies. You got this.

As a coach you know you're going to have games/series like this. It's hard
