Some national stat rankings for your enjoyment
Long way to go, but it's always interesting to me to see where VT stands in things such as scoring and home runs.
Per the NCCA website, through yesterday's games:
Home runs per game (2.0): tied for 4th in the country
Slugging percentage (.649): 7th
Scoring/Runs per game (7.5): 12th
Batting average (.351): 14th
And something that you may not have noticed...
Fielding percentage (.983): 9th
