Real? I think so. - NIL Club for VT Softball

I know that it is almost Giving Day and Virginia Tech will once again be asking us for money. Here's a different opportunity to give... more directly to the players, it seems. I don't think that this needs to be instead of anything... giving to Hokie Club or directing money to the softball program through Chip. One of the softball players sent this to me (see link). When I reached out (thought it might be a scam), they confirmed with "Oh, it's real!" The site says there are 22 of our players that are participating in this. They're only asking for $440/month (I think this is a monthly subscription), so it would take very little of each member here to help them meet their goal. Chip, you seem connected to a large number of players. Could you possibly reach out to a couple to confirm their thoughts on the legitimacy of this? If you can confirm that it's real, I think this is something that this group could easily support and exceed their expectations without breaking anyone's budget. Thanks in advance if you could.

Looks like something players set up themselves.

How does this help the program / facilities going forward?

NIL $ is Attractive to Players, thus Indirectly good for the Program

NIL has no direct effect on the facilities. Donors make the choice and

It sure looks real. I will ask some of the parents this week in Clearwater
