Well, what a season it was for a special group of ladies. We may have ended up short of Oklahoma City but it was still a very special season that we'll never forget. Our Ten for the Win Fundraiser has now received checks that total over $33,800 and I've already heard from several folks that have already mailed additional checks. I think we have a real shot at exceeding $40,000 - maybe even $45,000. That is just amazing support from an AWESOME TSL community. And EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR GOES TO THE SOFTBALL PROGRAM. The breakdown of the team's wins was Regular Season Wins = 40 ACC Tournament Wins = 1 NCAA Tournament Wins =5 TWHokie’s original challenge was $10 for each regular season win, $20 for each ACC Tournament win, and $30 for each NCAA tournament win, so that would total $570 if you accepted his challenge. Of course, any amount was/is greatly appreciated. If you haven't mailed your check, please do so as soon as you can. Every dollar goes to the softball program and every dollar makes a difference. We have a donor that reached out last week that will match any new dollars so any new contribution will be doubled. A hundred dollars will essentially be worth $200 to the softball program and a $250 donation will be worth $500, etc. Did I mention that EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR goes to the softball program?
