I believe that means juniors like Emma Mazzarone, Michelle Chatfield, Annika Rohs, Zoe Yaeger, and Addy Foster, as well as the underclassmen like Jordan Lynch and Gaby Mizelle could have an extra year IF they wanted it. However, this could create a problem with roster numbers. So far, it sounds like the 25-player limit will remain in effect. With 5 players committed in the Class of 2027, how do the numbers work out. The Hokies are currently at 23 players, but could possibly add a player or two from the portal. Stay tuned - it could get interesting.
