Criticism is likely not as much.....

the issue as whether that criticism is informed. Sometimes the criticism can be valid, however, it is likely more often just an emotional response to an unfavorable result that may not really understand all the facts and considerations that entered the coach's decision. Yesterday is just the most recent example of this type of situation.
