Agreed. The issue is what do you train at in the off-season

The opportunity then captures the potential role of that player. Syre, she could lots of batting work while working on her command. But it almost sets down a path. And yes, someone could switch during the season but if someone else has locked down a role. I agree with you that it is worth seeing if she can improve from junior year to senior year after 3 years of collegiate-level training. However, there is a temtation to want to see her as a full-time hitter.
