The announcers from that Longwood game a few years ago were dreadful ....

I legit felt bad for them. Some manager or supervisor made a horrible call to assign them to that game. It was clear that was the very first softball game they had ever watched, much less been the announcers for. It's been awhile, but I seem recall thinking that cricket was the game they had the most experience with. "I think she is going to try to put the bat on the ball, to make it go forward" "Hit!!!" (every time there was a foul ball or foul tip). Crazy stuff.
