Unfortunately, right now the bottom of the order is starting with Peck. So 44% of the lineup is doing absolutely nothing. Now the top of the lineup (excluding Cori) is also struggling mightily, but it wasn’t that way before Pitt. I don’t think our #6 through #9 hitters are magically going to get better this season. Not happening. I know Peck has an injury and that stinks. Not sure what has happened to Rachel. She looked great for a stretch. Anni looked great early but has really regressed. You can’t have four hitters consistently contributing nothing and still expect to win.
