Lemley was pretty good as freshman but was limited by her illegal . . .

. . . leaping (and she was illegal a lot). I was impressed by her 'fixing' this her sophomore year and still being effective. The rule change her junior year made her life easier. The fact that she pitched for a different coaches three of her four years likely limited her ability to ever develop and deploy consistently an effective change. ** Edited by MidloHokie at 4/21/2026, 5:29:04 PM ** Edited by MidloHokie at 4/21/2026, 5:29:37 PM ** Edited by MidloHokie at 4/21/2026, 6:11:42 PM

vatechcowpatty 04/21/26 04:42 PM ET
Yes and no. Giving up HRs isn't the best evidence
VAHokie89 04/21/26 05:26 PM ET
Here's an interesting stat on walks
VTChip 04/21/26 02:33 PM ET
Chip, how do we stand in walks allowed compared to the the nation's top 20?**
gdot 04/21/26 08:15 PM ET
Duke is a surprise on that list.**
Hockeydad 04/21/26 07:31 PM ET
I'd be curious about strike outs **
TomTurkey 04/21/26 03:30 PM ET
VT is actually leading the conference by a decent margin
VTChip 04/21/26 03:57 PM ET
FSU leads the conference in fewest BB surrendered by a wide margin . . .

We must be giving up more than our fair share of RBI's usually with

TomTurkey 04/21/26 04:15 PM ET
Pitcher stats.
RJHokie 04/21/26 04:28 PM ET
Actually, VT is second in the conference in fewest strikeouts
VTChip 04/21/26 04:42 PM ET
Yeah, only FSU is ahead of us. **
RJHokie 04/21/26 04:51 PM ET
Thanks. I was looking for both per the OP. **
