Until we can learn to manufacture runs without hitting dingers we’re not going to beat elite teams regularly and we open ourselves to upsets vs teams who don’t have nearly our talent It’s a lot easier to hit a grounder to right side or fly ball SF or bunt than it is to hit HR We have amazing HR hitting talent but aside from Oklahoma the teams that are regularly in OKC bunt, slap, run and mfg runs with line drives or even bloop slap hits.
