the donations do you think would be a "rob Peter to pay Paul" donation? Instead of softball getting $X dollars from a donor, some of that money ends ups being donated to another sports or sport(s) because of the work their "Chip" did to increase awareness for the sport. I agree with you that it would be great if every sport had their version of "Chip." Particularly if the sports are able to keep their current donation rate and the "Chips" are bringing in only new donations for their sports. I am just not sure if the fan base/alumni pool is wired to operate that way because of VT's established history in the approach they took with fundraising.
