Remember that the baseline is commercial and for players and staff, that will probably run close to $20,000. You are 100% correct in that the cost of a charter flight will depend on what the carrier has going on - will they stay there or is there another team they could fly in the meantime, etc. We needed a starting number so I used $80,000 ($60k more than commercial) but it could be more or less given all the other factors. Coach Pete and gang will figure out the best use of the dollars, but it's always good to have options.
