Back in the 70s well before Scott stadium...
A bunch of us drove up to C'ville, Dee Taylor had a trailer attached to his vehicle and explained to the guys at the gate we were with the band. They let us in and literally parked next to the stadium.
Things were simpler in those days, I suppose.
