Mazzarone's issues are not that she isn't getting calls. Too many pitchers are high flares away from the batter, low and away, outside, too far inside. If there is some random pitch that is close but the ump does not call it, that is not what causes Mazzarone to issue walks. It is the fact that her pitches are all over the place. Even her strikeouts are struggles at times.
