The HR numbers are not over-whelming when compared to McMillans :)

Basically...11, 16, 13, and 13 HRs so far. 66 players in the nation with more than 13 this year. Her ability to hit more than the 13-17 is affected - like most hitters - by stretches like that two week stretch earlier this season where the ball does not go out of the park. So while she isn't a dominant HR hitter in theory, her HR record speaks to her consistency, longevity, and being great enough to start and play since her freshman year. I think what is more impressive is her batting average has been above .300 her entire career. Her slugging percentage has basically been .626-.750 after her freshman year. So there is that consistency across all aspects of her game, including the versatility and greatness on defense. Beyond Angela Tincher and other periods of softball excellence, this will likely be considered the "golden era" of VT softball, or at least the continuation of what was started by D'Amour several years ago. And Peck, like Ritter, ***an, Bennett, Bailey, Rochard, Greene, among others will be largely responsible.

She is so soft spoken in interviews compared to her more boisterous 'mates.

“Everybody’s super strong on this team,” she said. Understatement 😳

Recruiting and development, those 2 components of our program don't change.**

Does the softball program have it's own HOF? if not, maybe it should.**

It should. The generic VT hall of fame is meager
