But close followers to these sports who are passionate also can have quite a bit of experience as well. Both observational of other great teams and in practice. Just because someone is a D1 coach doesn’t mean they’re automatically smarter and make better decisions re: game play and management. MOST of the time they do…but they can make mistakes too
