This season I marveled at how well Addison Foster seemed to get on base
with hit after hit, and some well placed shots. Definitely a great leadoff batter. I've was wondering if her experience having been a slap hitter has afforded her a keener sense of timing and actually seeing the pitch better than others that have never perfected slap hitting. Curious what the softball pundits on here think.

She didn't swing at too many bad pitches, had good patience, and good bat

The things that make her a great batter also make her a great centerfielder

Bre Peck was another similar infielder that wound up in centerfield
