Tegan, a VT Class of '26 commit, closed out her senior season with a bang (or a BOOM!) as she homered in her last five games, including the 4A championship against Terre Haute North, which the Indians won 9-2. Lake Central finished the season with a 31-2 record. Her 12th home run of the season increased Lake Central’s lead, 7-0. “Tripp tied a 4A state finals record for most hits. “I wanted to go out there and put it all on the field for my whole team, for the rest of my seniors,” Tripp said. “We’ve worked so hard the past four years, especially this year’s group, to get where we are now. I had to come out here and give it my all.” Per MaxPreps, Tripp finished her senior season with a .537 batting average, 12 home runs, and 52 runs batted in.
