I took a road trip today to Woodgrove High School to watch 2027 VT Commit Chloe Wools and her Tuscarora teammates defend their Class 4 state title. And defend it they did, recording a 6-1 win versus Gloucester to end their season with 8 straight wins and an overall record of 19-3. That’s back-to-back state titles for the Huskies. Per MaxPrep, Chloe ended the year with a .476 batting average and 26 RBIs. Gloucester employed a 4-outfielder shift when she was batting today - I’ve never seen that before. 😳 They also intentionally walked her one time. Chloe has been selected for the PGF Futures Game that will be held in Irvine, California in July. I’d say that’s a pretty good year! Congratulations to all!
