I always hate to lose a Hokie, but this one doesn’t really surprise me. With three other pitchers returning (Emma Mazzarone, Bree Carrico, and Avery Layton) and the arrival of two highly touted freshmen (Angelina Eakman and Grace Swedarsky), it was going to be a challenge for to Addyson to record meaningful innings next season. By entering the transfer portal, she can hopefully land at a school where the pitching room isn’t so crowded. Addyson finished her VT career with a 3-0 record and a 3.57 ERA in 15.2 innings pitched, along with 13 strikeouts and 11 walks. Wishing Addyson all the best. Thanks for being a Hokie.
