It stinks. Terrible timing but we slumped offensively and it wasn’t all because of the pitching we faced either. Roelling of UGA, Heard and Freidel of SC were just as good or better than the arms we faced. We just had our best power hitters weakly popping up all weekend. Kylie and Chatfield were the only ones doing much of anything. Foster hit it well after she finally broke out vs Akron Zoe only hit vs USA & Akron. Nora & Jordan had their worst weekends of the year. It stinks that it happened when it did. They had a great season. I just wish they’d played their best and if that wasn’t good enough so be it, but it just didn’t happen. Bad timing for our worst weekend since February 😩 Annika Rohs was our best player all weekend. No offense to Anni…she played her heart out…but when she’s our best hitter over the weekend that’s not good news for the team’s overall performance ** Edited by hokiepro at 5/18/2026, 6:39:55 AM
