That, in and of itself, will make most non-supermen/super-women slow coming up.
The biggest question mark, in my opinion, is what the Virginia Tech first base coach was doing. This was not all on Castine. If she should be half-way to second, HE should have been in her ear. IF he had her tagging up on the potential catch, that is on him. Even if it is was not clear quickly that it was not a catch, it all starts with the instructions the coach was giiving to Castine during the play.
