claim we have depth just because we have used five pitchers this year. That does not mean we have depth. It just means that we have used five pitchers. And when we face the better teams in the ACC like Duke, Clemson, UVA, FSU, I don't feel the need to test that depth. Many programs only use 2-3 pitchers as starters. If Mazzarone and Carrico are two of the most reliable pitchers and you are playing a 3-game series, you only need 2 GOOD Starters.
