Makes me think of pro golfers. A golf swing is a repeated motion that

muscle memory should make perfect, right? Yet they flub shots and hit terrible drives. I think their brains cause a small defect in their swing that causes a bad shot. They probably tape their swings and have coaches watch to correct mechanical issues. I would think the pitching coaches do, also.
