“The Pac-12 Networks launched in 2012 as a Pac-12 Conference media company that promised lots of programming – seven television channels that eventually produced about 850 live events per year with the help of about 150 full-time employees. But now it’s all over. The Pac-12 Networks finally will go dark Sunday night at age 12 due to complications from a vexing national outbreak – college football realignment.”

Bill Walton’s passing about a month ago was kind of symbolic for this.
Hate that we lost Bill (despite how annoying he could be sometimes), but his beloved P12 kind of died with him. He obviously knew the conference was folding, and that’s not why he died of course, but in some ways I’m glad he didn’t have to see the final stake driven into the ground on it. When he left the earth, the P12 was technically (and legally) still a thing!

...and it wasn't close. As bad as the ACC's leadership has been in the last decade or two, the guys the P-12 hired just take the cake. Frankly the former P-12 schools should sue those idiots to get their money back.
