Five Conference Champions (P4+1G6) and 11 at large not off the table for 26
Sankey is working to figure out how to go with 9 Conference games, plus 1 B1G game and not punish SEC teams for having more losses, but a stronger strength of schedule. Evidently he has to convince the SEC Coaches and AD’s they won’t be hurt and it could help them get even more bids. The ACC and B12 want 5 Conference Champion bids and 11 at large. The B1G and SEC coaches seemed to want 4-4-2-2-1-3.
All of this according to Pete Thamel who is at the SEC meetings.
