With all the chest-thumping about the conference membership

by the likes of SEC members and B1G members, along with the greed, the research money and everything else, I've been saying that the bottom third of these conferences better watch their backs from within their own conference.

Tradition has been kicked aside in the last 20 years, so if these schools think that being a longtime member of the conference is going to save them when it all goes down, they are likely wrong.
