You're forgetting that the B12 and ACC's media rights deals will both-

be about to expire, the Big 12's in 2030, and the ACC's in 2036. The Big 12's current GOR expires for its members in July 2031. The ACC, in settling the FSU/Clemson lawsuits, also agreed to implement a staggered reduction in the fee for a member to execute a clean exit from the conference - by the 2029-2030 timeframe, that fee becomes entirely workable in the context of facing down an existential threat to your football program's future viability. In that context, I don't think the idea of several schools deciding to do something else could be reasonably viewed as conspiring to do something in an underhanded fashion. The contracts will either be up, or there will be exit paths available.
