Why the SEC won't rush to raid the ACC

here's what drove the move announced today. FOX pushed USC and UCLA to the BIG to get more eyeballs on the BIG network, which is owned by FOX. The important factor here is the PAC12 network is NOT owned by FOX, but by the conference itself. Why wouldn't the SEC do the same and raid the ACC? The ACC network and the SEC network are both owned by ESPN. In order for the SEC to want to do this, or have any incentive to do this, ESPN would have to guarantee them that the TV contract would get larger if they did. From ESPN's perspective, this would just be robbing peter to pay paul. In my opinion, the SEC won't look to the ACC to expand until the ESPN contract with the ACC gets closer to a close. If anywhere, the SEC will look at remaining BIG12 teams, and the risk the ACC faces is from the BIG

Does BC, Syracuse, and Miami really bring that much more to table though?

How much more could ESPN pay the SEC if it wasn't paying the ACC anymore?**

Brett McMurphy is reporting Big 12 may go after Arizona/ASU/Utah/Colorado

Why wouldn’t the PAC go after the Big 12?**

That's the conference of last resort for everyone right now.

I don't think so. I think ASU competes as a DI Independent like AL-Hunts**

Bad news for Tech if those 2 are still our annual rivals 12 years from now.**
