KU just entered into an agreement to have
a patch on their jerseys ($6M per year). The individual schools can, and are, entering into agreements for their own brand. Currently, the B12 patch is the only "conference" patch. AI vales these patch deals as being worth $500,000 to up to $12M for the blue bloods.
They are only worth what someone will pay, so with just one point on the graph, it's easy to assume it's not a good deal. When the ACC announces their deal, we will than have a basis for comparison. Until then, the schools in the B12 will get approximately $1M more per school that the ACC is not.
