They could be good in non revs in any conference just as long as they aren’t in the same conference with my Hokies. I couldn’t care less about what ND brings to the ACC in non rev sports unless they joined full time with football. And don’t worry, their non rev athletes will be fine without a conference. ND has the cash. That said, their success in non rev sports is inconsequential in my argument. From “your own” data the ACC has 8 other schools in the top 25 in the directors cup. ND can go away and the ACC would still be fine for those who really care about field hockey. I just don’t want ND in a comfy bed here in the ACC. It’s just 10 + another 12 years of being aligned with those leaches that irritates me. You have to admit the hypocrisy and double standards that they embody. If you’re OK with that, you can go on loving ND. But in the words of Robert Bruce to his father… “my hate will die with you” when I speak of ND in any conference with Tech as a partial member.
