It sounds like the TV companies are required to divert more $$ to the Conf

Seems like contractual obligation. Which is great as long as that stays in force. In that case, I’d go get the states of Texas(x2), California(x2), Washington, Oregon, Arizona and, sure go grab Ohio with Cincinnati. And if it was me pulling the strings I’d bounce Wake Forest out for WVU.

Nebraska's AD makes it sound like more realignment is coming

I have a feeling we have a good chance being conference mates with WVU

The Entirety of the Big XII an PAC 12 become available in the next 3 years.

Can't add teams that dilute the payout!, Why can't people understand this**

Can't keep entire regions out and keep payouts. Why can't folks understand?

The entirety of the ACC wants into the B1G and/or SEC right now. **
BBBDatVT_ 08/07/22 08:15 PM ET
Actually the entirety of the ACC wants SEC or B1X money

The PAC12 stuff looks good on paper.

marcbvtgm 08/07/22 05:44 PM ET
And Cincinnati.
HOO86 08/07/22 05:49 PM ET
The second Fickell leaves IDK if Cincinnati is all that valuable.**
hokieZ71 08/07/22 06:10 PM ET
There are close to 12 million people in Ohio.
HOO86 08/07/22 06:23 PM ET
That’s a stretch to say Cinci puts the ACCN fully into Ohio
hokieZ71 08/07/22 06:42 PM ET
The ACC Network is fully into Ohio Now.

Most people do not understand that is why MD abd Rut were added to Big 10
LocalExperts 08/07/22 08:28 PM ET
It was why the B1G added those 2. It's also why they are adding LA schools**
HOO86 08/08/22 10:00 AM ET
That was a decade ago. Md and Rut are in because of PSU. Common knowledge.
BBBDatVT_ 08/08/22 12:03 AM ET
I know. I 'm surprised they don't understand it.
HOO86 08/07/22 09:21 PM ET
I'm surprised you think EVERY cable Co in OH will charge more cause of Cinn

hokieZ71 08/08/22 06:53 AM ET
So are you saying we already have 1/3 the value of adding Cincinnati
hokieZ71 08/07/22 07:11 PM ET
ACCN is in all states.
HOO86 08/07/22 07:40 PM ET
OK. Let's just add N. Texas, pay them $10 mil/yr, and make bank.
BBBDatVT_ 08/08/22 12:08 AM ET
Virginia offers no value to SEC or Big10**
LocalExperts 08/07/22 08:30 PM ET
Actually it is not......
2hhoop3 08/07/22 06:54 PM ET
I doubt Comcast, or whatever’s in Ohio, pays extra for Cincinnati.
BBBDatVT_ 08/07/22 07:06 PM ET
Once again......
2hhoop3 08/07/22 07:27 PM ET
So, a league could add Radford and get carriage in Virginia?

Dude. Your personal attacks gotta stop. It’s troubling. **
BBBDatVT_ 08/07/22 08:16 PM ET

Every cable company in Va would charge extra because a league added RU? **

hokieZ71 08/07/22 05:07 PM ET
Plenty of other schools that could “find a way.”
BBBDatVT_ 08/07/22 06:07 PM ET
Yeah
133743Hokie 08/07/22 08:35 PM ET
It would just be extremely expensive.
HOO86 08/07/22 05:59 PM ET
Our football is not under the GOR. 130- 210 million is what I have
goldendomer 08/07/22 07:09 PM ET
$120M exit fee. 2.5 games per year x 14 years equals 35 games. Say $2M per
133743Hokie 08/07/22 08:39 PM ET
Again, our football games are not under the GOR. Not 2.5.
goldendomer 08/07/22 08:44 PM ET
GOR no. But under contract are 5 per year.
HOO86 08/07/22 08:51 PM ET
Much cheaper than 500, 400,300 million. The max it would be 220
goldendomer 08/07/22 08:56 PM ET
ND can get out. It's just expensive.
HOO86 08/07/22 09:07 PM ET
That's expensive IMO
HOO86 08/07/22 07:37 PM ET
For sure not cheap, just doable if the ND admin wanted to do so. I imagine
goldendomer 08/07/22 07:47 PM ET
Status quo for both ND and the ACC is the best thing that could happen
133743Hokie 08/07/22 08:42 PM ET
I kinda wish the ND band aid gets pulled by 2025
hokieZ71 08/07/22 07:14 PM ET
My guess is BIG gets new deal to get to 2030
HokieAl 08/07/22 08:20 PM ET
Yep, I think that too.
hokieZ71 08/08/22 01:44 PM ET
It would be nice if it could all be done with by 2026.
