Greg Sankey could care less about the "best interest of college football."

He, along with Disney and FOX, are the primary disruptors that are ruining everything about the sport. "College Football" has largely become synonymous with "the SEC" in most people's minds, thanks to Disney and Sankey. Even the administration and top programs in the Big 10 have some modicum of shame; you won't find any shame in the SEC. In fact, any casual consumer of the sport could easily and fairly think there is no other consideration to be had in the entire sport. I've long been a proponent of everyone else refusing to "play ball," both literally and figuratively, with the SEC. Every other conference commissioner, AD, coach, etc. should be trashing the SEC publicly, 24/7. They only have the panache that they have because everyone else GIVES it to them. Call them out for what they are - a top-heavy conference full of diploma mills with football programs attached. They're not special. If everyone else in the sport stopped constantly fellating the SEC and just refused to cooperate with what they want, refused to schedule them out of conference, refused to play them in the post-season, my inclination is that they'd be brought to heel pretty quickly. If not, at least it would be great television.
