Even though the Big XII may have added better schools, those additions

don't come close to what was lost when Oklahoma and Texas left to join the SEC. The ACC would be in exact same boat if it lost its top brands too. Right now you could say we live in a P2+2 world with the ACC and Big XII being the "+2." Once the P2s have the ACC's top brands, then there is nothing really to stop them from kicking the ACC and the Big XII to the curb. Hence why I said they are mirror images of each other because both are essentially along for the ride until the other shoe drops. Given that the 12-team CFP has already changed from the 6-6 model to the 5-7 model before the first year because of what happened to the Pac-12, it could be interesting to see what other changes are made to it when it is up for renewal. Depending on what year that is scheduled to take place and where that falls in relation to when the ACC's and Big XII's media contracts are set to expire, I might be a little nervous as a conference that it could lose its power conference status. The Big XII might be a little more vulnerable right now because it doesn't have any member that is in the same ballpark as Clemson's, FSU's, and Miami's brand. Will it change to the P3 at some point in the future with the Big XII voted off the island first or will it remain the P4 until both the ACC and Big XII can be voted off the island at the same time? Regardless of which is taken, the endgame will still be the same unless the ACC and Big XII can find a way to convince everyone that they should remain a power conference.

He's a little too bullish on the big12 future

What a stretch, Texas is leaving the B12, that’s ludicrous!! Say it enough

BigXII and ACC are about to become the new G2. Especially the BigXII.

I don't think that is the case, at least not in my neck of the woods. I

The difference is, 12 years of a GOR, Big12 and PAC GORs were done
Vienna_Hokie 12/06/23 09:00 AM ET
The problem is that schools in the ACC might not have a dozen years.

They have longer than the current system will last

He makes a mistake by thinking the CFPC chose the BigXII over the ACC.

simpler than that, Big 12 is ACC with a shorter window and less brands

I agree that the ACC currently has a better brand than the Big XII.

Texas was put in to justify Alabama. Also, no way a 12-1 BigXII champ
