That may have been........

the angle the B1G peddled, however, everybody knows it was purely about the in state footprints and cable subscribers in the MD/DC and NJ/NY metro areas and the fact that Maryland and Rutgers were both drowning from an athletic financial perspective. Funny thing is that after 9 or 10 years neither Rutgers or Maryland has changed their habits they're just spending more money and not really competing at a higher level. Maybe I have just missed the reports of their glowing financial results and rapidly improving athletic programs?
