12 is ok provided they start sooner.
I didn't even know the championship game was on until that morning. The playoffs dragged on.
More playoff games means less importance on the regular season. With 16 teams, you are going to get 1-2 teams with 4 losses in consideration when the SEC goes to a 9 game schedule. That sucks.
