I'll be the first in line to say that I was

disappointed that the ACC did not get more money with the "extension". My reasoning is that their ceiling had been met, and the b12's isn't any different. If ESPN had given the ACC more money, even if it was to subsidize the better brands, that it would have showed that the B12's contract is undervalued. Either the lower third of the ACC is really that bad with viewership, or ESPN and FOX spent the bulk of their money on two conferences. I no longer wait in anticipation of the next media deal for the B12 in 2031, and it appears that the ACC & B12, while getting "stability" whatever the hell that means, will fall further, and further behind as the revenue sharing and NIL things get worked out. There is no longer a clear competition for a P3 with the current configuration. It may be time to think out of the box.
