Then keep the playoff money for themselves? The expanded playoff revenue is in it's first contract. The first two rounds of viewership was so successful, the they may be just scratching the surface. Ohio state, Michigan, USC. Texas, Bama, Georgia, FSU, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee, A&M, Florida, and a few others would come pretty darn close. Maybe not as much as ND, but it sure would be an interesting exercise to see what they were worth in the open market. This is for discussion purposes, and is not what I think will happen. Say, if one was to take all of the media money out of an athletic departments budget, there are schools that would still make a profit from their football. It is those teams that could garner more individually, then sharing their revenue with those in their conference.
