Umm, ya. I don't see either conference as being better than the

other. There are some older Big East schools that could separate themselves, and some that have - but for whatever reason, not for a sustained amount of time. Except for Oklahoma and Nebraska, A&M, Texas, Missouri, and even Colorado, never dominated anything in the B12 athletically. When you get to the handful of teams that have consistently vied for the 4 or two team playoffs, there just isn't much in my view that separates a VT from a K-State, or a North Carolina from a KU. If you live in ACC land, it's unfathomable that more people tune into a K-State Baylor game, than a VT (pick a private) game, but there is a huge difference when both schools in a game consistently fill their stadiums, travel well, and are enthusiastic even when there is zero chance of making the playoffs - which until now, has been anyone not in the top 5 - 10 in the national rankings. The teams in the B12 (except for a few), do not need matchups against marquee programs to fill their stadiums and get eyeballs on TV. If you take Clemson, FSU, and the few games from ND off the schedule, ALL of the ACC schools besides VT, would absolutely struggle to get buts in seats, get eyeballs watching the games, and most of all, have fan interest nationally.

Clemson fans get mad when I say this but the SEC doesn’t need them & FSU

It's reality, they don't need them **

I think Clemson and FSU would be far more attractive to the Big Ten.

Yeah. That's, in part, why I think the B1G should be interested in Clemson.
