Oh they have talked abou it. FSU thinks they can crack the GoR.

This has been in the works since as far back as December. They are willing to accept the risk of a financial disaster if they fail in court, because they consider eating a $30 million (and growing) disparity for 13 years an equally damaging situation. They are rolling the dice. Gutsy gamble! I have seen others arguing that even if FSU loses in court, the conference will not be able to collect the damages. (Not a good look for the institution; maybe try for a fractional settlement)
