Could we have suspected that Swofford would bungle the TV contract and brick the solo network? 4. Had VT been screwed over in the conference shuffle since the 1950s? 5. In the long-run would you expect FSU, Miami, Clemson and UNC to have more appeal than VT? I know we'd have gotten slaughtered in the SEC, since we weren't very good in the ACC. I know there was a ton of other stuff going on, such as sticking with UVA and shooting lawsuits and lots of other crap, but if you look at this solely on a membership decision, staying in the ACC in 2011 was about as terrible a decision as could have been made. Some should have at least foreseen the crap hand that we are holding now and tried to rock the boat.
