Whenever we did a contest, it was always Keep It Simple/Stupid People don't want complicated things, they want things simple. It's why the NBA in season tournament is going to be a failure, it's way too complicated for the average person to give a damn about. It's why the NCAA B-ball tourney is successful, the NFL is successful, MLB is successful, and why promotion/relegation will never work in US sports. Their postseason tournaments are straightforward
