The Aflac Kickoff game announced that it
would be Auburn vs. Baylor which was an already scheduled game to be played at Auburn. They moved the game to Atlanta for a multi million dollar NIL payoff for the Auburn players.
So Auburn gives up a home game to a neutral site so the players can get paid as well. The Baylor players do not receive any money, but were scheduled to play at Auburn anyway. Financials are not disclosed, but I see neutral site games as a way to pay players in the future.
