The new PAC positions their teams solidly between the G5 and the P4, but not enough to reject an P4 invite. IMO, this is a great way to get plan B teams ready for whenever Clemson and FSU leave. Just pick up USF and Memphis from the PAC, and carry on. A few years in the new PAC, and those teams will be fantastic additions. We just need to make sure they refuse to sign for massive new PAC exit penalties and a long-term GOR. In fact, that might be the hold up keeping those teams from joining the new PAC already. Maybe they are balking at massive new exit fees. They are no dummies, I'm sure, and at this point everyone is savvy to GORs.
