Can their union demand players receive an "A" in every class?

If a student is considered a troublemaker on the team, can the coaches tell their professors to flunk them out of school? Will athletes actually need to be enrolled and attend classes? There are a lot of questions to be answered, since colleges don't currently sponsor fully professional leagues. How will the educational side of college play into this?
