I think the B1G takes ND and another ACC school. The SEC will then take 4 ACC schools which could bode well for VT. After those six schools are gone, ESPN will renegotiate the ACC contract based on the composition clause reported to be in all of ESPN contracts. The ACC’s future will depend on those negotiations which will also have ramifications on the overall exit cost that departing schools will owe. Unknown at the time, but ESPN played a big part in the overall exit cost that Texas and Oklahoma ended up owing the Big 12. I really don’t see the B1G or the SEC increasing their membership beyond 20 schools.
