SEC/B1G are not gutting The ACC. FSU is.

FSU AD Alford said in a public meeting last August that the school was seeking to circumvent the GoR. He made it clear that FSU intends to leave The ACC and challenge the GoR. Anyone who ignored that strongly implied declaration is suffering from some form willful blindness. It did, however, get the attention of other ACC schools who apparently have enlisted in his mutiny. It was necessary that the subterfuge emerge at the conference meeting to avoid the awkward silence by seven members during discussions of future ACC plans.
